The Fort Hood massacre

SIOE sends its sincere condolences to the families of those killed by a Muslim at Fort Hood.  This event was not just an atrocity it was a tragedy. The tragedy resides in the betrayal of the American non-Muslim citizens, especially those in the US armed forces, by the present Administration.  The betrayal lies in the constant denial that Islam is the root of the evil problem.

Unfortunately, this tragedy is already being excused.  This excusing of flagrant killing is merely one small step in the Islamisation of America.

Some Muslims have at least been honest in saying Nidal Malik Hasan was engaged in Jihad and called the fellow Muslim and killer “brother”. 

Muslims in America suggested that Nidal Malik Hasan was “an officer and a gentleman injured while partaking in a pre-emptive strike”

Others cry crocodile tears while belching taqiyya.

Eyewitness account of what happened

This account was written by an onsite JAG officer. Carolyn Teten received it and posted and shared it. She gave her permission to forward it.

Subject: What happened

Since I don’t know when I’ll sleep (it’s 4 am now) I’ll write what happened (the abbreviated version…..the long one is already part of the investigation with more to come). I’ll not write about any part of the investigation that I’ve learned about since (as a witness I know more than I should since inevitably my JAG brothers and sisters are deeply involved in the investigation). Don’t assume that most of the current media accounts are very accurate. They’re not. They’ll improve with time. Only those of us who were there really know what went down. But as they collate our statements they’ll get it right.

I did my SRP last week (Soldier Readiness Processing) but you’re supposed to come back a week later to have them look at the smallpox vaccination site (it’s this big itchy growth on your shoulder). I am probably alive because I pulled a ———- and entered the wrong building first (the main SRP building). The Medical SRP building is off to the side. Realizing my mistake I left the main building and walked down the sidewalk to the medical SRP building. As I’m walking up to it the gunshots start. Slow and methodical. But continuous. Two ambulatory wounded came out. Then two soldiers dragging a third who was covered in blood. Hearing the shots but not seeing the shooter, along with a couple other soldiers I stood in the street and yelled at everyone who came running that it was clear but to “RUN!”. I kept motioning people fast.

About 6-10 minutes later (the shooting continuous), two cops ran up. one male, one female. we pointed in the direction of the shots. They headed that way (the medical SRP building was about 50 meters away). then a lot more gunfire. a couple minutes later a balding man in ACU’s came around the building carrying a pistol and holding it tactically. He started shooting at us and we all dived back to the cars behind us. I don’t think he hit the couple other guys who were there. I did see the bullet holes later in the cars. First I went behind a tire and then looked under the body of the car. I’ve been trained how to respond to gunfire…but with my own weapon. To have no weapon I don’t know how to explain what that felt like. I hadn’t run away and stayed because I had thought about the consequences or anything like that. I wasn’t thinking anything through. Please understand, there was no intention. I was just staying there because I didn’t think about running. It never occurred to me that he might shoot me. Until he started shooting in my direction and I realized I was unarmed.

Then the female cop comes around the corner. He shoots her. (according to the news accounts she got a round into him. I believe it, I just didn’t see it. He didn’t go down.) She goes down. He starts reloading. He’s fiddling with his mags. Weirdly he hasn’t dropped the one that was in his weapon. He’s holding the fresh one and the old one (you do that on the range when time is not of the essence but in combat you would just let the old mag go). I see the male cop around the left corner of the building. (I’m about 15-20 meters from the shooter.) I yell at the cop, “He’s reloading, he’s reloading. Shoot him! Shoot him!) You have to understand, everything was quiet at this point. The cop appears to hear me and comes around the corner and shoots the shooter. He goes down. The cop kicks his weapon further away. I sprint up to the downed female cop.

Another captain (I think he was with me behind the cars) comes up as well. She’s bleeding profusely out of her thigh. We take our belts off and tourniquet her just like we’ve been trained (I hope we did it right…we didn’t have any CLS (combat lifesaver) bags with their awesome tourniquets on us, so we worked with what we had). Meanwhile, in the most bizarre moment of the day, a photographer was standing over us taking pictures. I suppose I’ll be seeing those tomorrow. Then a soldier came up and identified himself as a medic. I then realized her weapon was lying there unsecured (and on “fire”). I stood over it and when I saw a cop yelled for him to come over and secure her weapon (I would have done so but I was worried someone would mistake me for a bad guy). I then went over to the shooter. He was unconscious. A Lt Colonel was there and had secured his primary weapon for the time being. He also had a revolver. I couldn’t believe he was one of ours. I didn’t want to believe it. Then I saw his name and rank and realized this wasn’t just some specialist with mental issues.

At this point there was a guy there from CID and I asked him if he knew he was the shooter and had him secured. He said he did. I then went over the slaughterhouse. The medical SRP building. No human should ever have to see what that looked like – and I won’t tell you. Just believe me. Please. There was nothing to be done there. Someone then said there was someone critically wounded around the corner. I ran around (while seeing this floor to ceiling window that someone had jumped through movie style) and saw a large African-American soldier lying on his back with two or three soldiers attending. I ran up and identified two entrance wounds on the right side of his stomach, one exit wound on the left side and one head wound. He was not bleeding externally from the stomach wounds (though almost certainly internally) but was bleeding from the head wound. A soldier was using a shirt to try and stop the head bleeding. He was conscious so I began talking to him to keep him so. He was 42, from North Carolina, he was named something Jr., his son was named something III and he had a daughter as well. His children lived with him. He was divorced. I told him the blubber on his stomach saved his life. He smiled. a young soldier in civvies showed up and identified himself as a combat medic. We debated whether to put him on the back of a pickup truck. A doctor (well, an audiologist) showed up and said “you can’t move him, he has a head wound”. We finally sat tight.

I went back to the slaughterhouse. They weren’t letting anyone in there. not even medics. finally, after about 45 minutes had elapsed some cops showed up in tactical vests. someone said the TBI building was unsecured. They headed into there. All of a sudden a couple more shots were fired. People shouted there was a second shooter. a half hour later the SWAT showed up. There was no second shooter. That had been an impetuous cop apparently. but that confused things for a while. Meanwhile I went back to the shooter. the female cop had been taken away. a medic was pumping plasma into the shooter. I’m not proud of this but I went up to her and said “this is the shooter, is there anyone else who needs attention…do them first”. she indicated everyone else living was attended to. I still hadn’t seen any EMTs or ambulances. I had so much blood on me that people kept asking me if I was ok, but that was all other people’s blood. Eventually (an hour and a half to two hours after the shootings) they started landing choppers. They took out the big African American guy and the shooter. I guess the ambulatory wounded were all at the SRP building. Everyone else in my area was dead.

I suppose the emergency responders were told there were multiple shooters. I heard that was the delay with the choppers (they were all civilian helicopters). They needed a secure LZ. but other than the initial cops who did everything right, I didn’t see a lot of them for a while. I did see many a soldier rush out to help their fellows/sisters. There was one female soldier, I dont’ know her name or rank but I would recognize her anywhere who was everywhere helping people. a couple people, mainly civilians, were hysterical, but only a couple. one civilian freaked out when I tried to comfort her when she saw my uniform. I guess she had seen the shooter up close. a lot of soldiers were rushing out to help even when we thought there was another gunman out there. This Army is not broken no matter what the pundits say. not the Army I saw.

and then they kept me for a long time to come. oh, and perhaps the most surreal thing, at 1500 (the end of the workday on Thursdays) when the bugle sounded we all came to attention and saluted the flag. in the middle of it all. This is what I saw. it can’t have been real, but this is my small corner of what happened.

Dear Sir,

The one way a peaceful SIOE demonstration will happen on 13^th December in Harrow is for all thuggish Muslim youths and the invariably violent UAF to stay away.

It is unlikely that SIOE will counter-demonstrate against UAF on 23^rd November (Harrow Times 6th November) and they should pay SIOE the same courtesy on 13^th December.

SIOE supporters have counter-demonstrated against several Muslim marches and have never been violent.

However, it appears that Muslim and UAF violence at their counter-protests is deemed inevitable, so legitimate demonstrations they disagree with must be banned for being “provocative”. In other words, violence must prevail.

Indeed we know Harrow residents who opposed the building of the mosque are afraid to attend SIOE’s demonstration because of reprisals by neighbours.

Islamophobia is a truly multicultural activity because Islam is the antithesis of multiculturalism.

Muslims are attempting to make Islam the dominant theocratic-political system across the world and are actively eradicating democracy, non-Islamic cultures and all other religions.

To achieve this, Muslims are persecuting non-Muslims in Islamic countries such as Egypt, Somalia, Indonesia and Malaysia with impunity because Western politicians and media suppress news of such events. 

It is Muslim clerics in mosques in these countries that preach Jihad against the “Kuffar,” just as in British mosques.

We urge Harrow residents of all non-Muslim communities who are unhappy with the Islamisation of Harrow to come to SIOE’s demonstration wearing red scarves and hats with banners saying “Harrow against Sharia”. 

SIOE generally disapproves of protestors covering their faces, but will accept Harrow residents using red scarves to disguise themselves to enable them to voice their opposition without fear of reprisals.

Here is another article in the Harrow Times. This time about a “Harrow Festival of Unity ahead of anti-Islam protest“

SIOE has written a letter of reply, but it is unlikely to be printed. If not, the letter will be posted here.

SIOE does not plan to counter-protest against this so-called “Festival of Unity,” but if it had then, like at every other counter-protest SIOE has attended, there would be no violence from SIOE supporters.

UAF spokesperson Sarah Cox said “It’s fundamentally about bringing the borough together in unity to show, as it showed before, there’s no section of the community that welcomes that kind of bigotry.”

This is amusing seeing that the definition of a bigot is “an obssesive and intolerant adherent of a particular doctrine or creed” which sounds like an accurate description of a Muslim.

Anti-Islamism is truly a multicultural activity as people from all non-Muslim cultures participate in it. However, Islam is rigidly monocultural as Muslims are attempting to make Islam the dominant theocratic despotism across the world.

Sarah Cox went on to say 

“These people cannot be allowed to march without people showing them how unwelcome they are. Otherwise they just get more confident.  – They come back for more. They come back after dark.”

The last time SIOE demonstrated in Harrow, it was Muslims coming back after dark to hurl missiles at police and rough-up journalists and passers by.

SIOE remains in the light, open and free.

Dhimmis determined to ban demo

If you value democracy, one legal system for all (that is not Sharia), freedom to criticise whomever and whatever you want and peaceful protest, then SIOE respectfully suggests you have a moral duty to attend the demonstration in Harrow on 13^th December.

If you are fed up with the incessant double-standards being applied that favour Muslims, with the Jihad being taught in mosques, the abject cowardice of politicians and judiciary towards Muslims being offended, then again, SIOE respectfully suggests you have a moral duty to attend the demonstration in Harrow on 13^th December.

The only available way people can voice their concerns about Islamisation is by protesting on the streets.  Now Muslims are trying to stop that route in true totalitarian Islamic style.

Multiculturalism is the policy being imposed by the EU.  Islamophobia is a truly multicultural phenomenon because Islam is the antithesis of multiculturalism.  Only Islam will prevail if Muslims get their way.  Muslims are in conflict with all other cultures in order to make Islam the dominant theo-political regime.  Therefore, Islamophobia should be encouraged by the EU as a multicultural activity, not quashed.

Remember, no SIOE supporter has committed violence at any SIOE demonstration.  The violence in Harrow on 11^th September 2009 was perpetrated totally by Muslims.

Instead of Muslim leaders, who are trying to stop legal protests, being listened to by senior British politicians, they should be forced to keep Muslims from being violent on our streets.  Muslim leaders should be persuaded to instruct Muslims to stay away from peaceful protests and refrain from violence.

However, a pig has more chance of scratching its backside on the Kaaba during the Hajj than mosque leaders demanding non-violence from Muslims.  This is why at least half the mosques in England are “radicalised” (in other words teaching the core principle of Islam known as Jihad).

When Muslims rampaged through London in January 2009 no calls were made to stop Muslim demonstrations.

London’s Metropolitan Police informed SIOE that 70 people had been arrested and charged with serious, imprisonable offences after that Muslim march.  However, BBC News 24 described that violent protest as “peaceful”. Contrast that lie, to the lie given that SIOE’s demonstration was “clashes on the streets” between SIOE and so-called anti-fascists.  There were no clashes with SIOE supporters because they were escorted from Harrow by police, so were not in a position to “clash”. Nevertheless, the media lied by saying that SIOE committed violent acts.

The reason we have third-rate politicians infesting parliaments in Europe is because of the fifth-rate people lying in the media. 

Despite the Muslim violence and many arrests, several Muslim marches have taken place since January. 

The only SIOE supporter to be arrested on 11^th September was Stephen Gash whilst sitting in a police vehicle waiting to be allowed to conduct the legal demonstration SIOE had organised.

People are expected to accept Cabinet Ministers taking time out from fiddling their expenses to make sure that people are prevented from saying “no more mosques until preaching hatred is stopped in existing mosques.” 

Well we don’t accept these double standards.  Unlike our thoroughly discredited Government Ministers and local councillors, we refuse to be cowed by Muslim threats of violence. 

We also refute the lies written about SIOE concerning violence, racism and unreasonableness.

SIOE will be meeting with police and others later this month to ensure a peaceful demonstration on 13^th December.

Harrow MPs, councillors and mosque lobby home secretary over rally

MEMBERS of a Harrow mosque lobbied the home secretary for an anti-Islam protest to be banned today.

Self-proclaimed Islamaphobics Stop Islamisation of Europe (SIOE) say they do not want anymore mosques in Britain and plan to demonstrate outside Harrow Central Mosque, in Station Road, on December 13.

A delegation of Harrow politicians led by Tony McNulty, MP for Harrow East, joined Ghulam Rabbani, the mosque’s general secretary, to ask Alan Johnson to find a way to stop the rally.

Mr Rabbani said: “We understand his hands are tied but now he understands that Harrow is a very difficult location to police.”

The group told the home secretary about violent scenes on September 11, the day of the organisation’s last demonstration, and the chaos caused on Station Road.

Mr McNulty said: “I think it went very well. I think the home secretary is very clear now on Harrow’s position.

“I think we also got the message across about unity across the community and all politicians. Hopefully that will feed back to the police if the protest goes ahead.”

Councillor David Ashton, leader of Harrow Council, said: “It was a very successful meeting. I think it will help us with the policing plans but realistically I don’t think it will lead to a ban because of the legal background with static demonstrations.”

Another delegation will meet police commissioner Sir Paul Stephenson to discuss policing arrangements for the rally.

The new totalitarianism – Internazislam

 

TOTALITARIANISM

SIOE is probably the most hard-line anti-Islam group in the world.

Recent correspondence and conversations have necessitated further explanation of our reasons for being so uncompromising. 

SIOE is against totalitarianism, such as communism, Nazism, international socialism (internazism) and obviously, Islam

Islam is the nastiest form of totalitarianism. It is internazism or communism with a dodgy deity, a theocratic despotism 

Totalitarian systems attempt to attain total control, total world domination and invariably resort to violence to achieve their aim. 

Nazis did not betray socialism; they betrayed nationalism. Having taken over Germany, they immediately invaded other countries in their quest to fulfil the true socialist philosophy of expansionism.  Nazis (or more correctly, internazis) sought to build the Third Reich, the third empire, just as Muslims seek the Caliphate and just as communists seek the “workers’ world utopia” 

Totalitarian systems are not just some kind of ethereal ideology; they require people to make them work, in other words members. 

Nazism needs Nazis, communism needs communists, internazism requires international socialists and Islam needs Muslims

Totalitarian systems are not necessarily racist, although Nazism undoubtedly was.  Communism, internazism and Islam are irrefutably totalitarian, expansionist regimes, just like Nazism, but they do not have a racial context 

Islam comprises many races and Muslims kill non-Muslims of all races. Race is not an issue either for Muslims or anti-Islamists 

Not all Germans were Nazis – all Nazis were/are Nazis 

Not all Russians, East Europeans and Chinese etc were communists. All communists were/are communists 

Not all Arabs, Pakistanis, Indonesians etc are Muslims.  All Muslims are Muslims

Not all Nazis were Gestapo, SS or concentration camp guards.  All Nazis were Nazis 

Not all communists were Politburo or KGB.  All communists were communists 

Not all Muslims are Al-Qaeda or Taliban.  All Muslims are Muslims

There are no moderate totalitarianists, whether they be Nazis, internazis, communists or Muslims

The goal of totalitarianists is world domination and Islam is the worst totalitarian system.  Nazis and communists had favoured statuses and received benefits that were denied to non-members.  Islam bestows favoured status to Muslims, declaring Muslims (the Umma) to be a higher class of human to the Kuffar (people sensible and rational enough not to be Muslims)

Uniquely, Islam has the death penalty for those who leave Islam.  Not even the Nazis, internazis and communists have such a draconian punishment for deserting the party, although they all kill dissenters and opponents.  Naturally, Muslims kill opponents, dissenters and even mild critics who make movies

Totalitarian systems permit everything necessary to achieve their goal of world domination, murder, violence, lying, stealing, hacking websites, absolutely anything.  However, only Islam actually has this (i.e. absolutely anything) written into its manifesto

Nazis oppressed and murdered minority communities and those they considered inferior.  When forming the majority and in power Muslims behave like Nazis, so must be called Nazis.    This can be seen all over the world in Muslim countries. Similarly, Communists in power behave like Nazis, so must be called Nazis.  At least internazists are honest when they call themselves “international socialists” but then spoil it by calling those who oppose them “Nazis” and hurling stones at them (like Muslims).  Nazis, internazis, communists and Muslims are all Nazis in their deeds and must be considered as Nazis.  

Muslims have a philosophy of taqiyya (lying) and kitman (withholding the truth) to further the cause of Islam.  SIOE has been criticised for pointing out that Muslims declaring themselves to be moderate cannot be trusted because of taqiyya and kitman.  Well, it was Muslims who invented taqiyya and kitman, not SIOE, just as it was they who invented Islam.  So, Islam, taqiyya and kitman are problems for Muslims to solve, not for the Kuffar.  So SIOE doesn’t venture to proffer advice to Muslims on how best to solve the unsolvable.  SIOE considers it best for Muslims to leave Islam, and get a life, instead of trying to dominate everybody else’s and driving the dividing, regressive wedge of Islam into prosperous, productive Western democracies

Harrow councillors are more unreasonable than Muslims

 The report below beggars belief. We have been branded “fascist” and “racist” by elected lightweight politicians who refuse to even talk to us because they say, quote: “They cannot be reasoned with and they cannot be spoken to like civilised people because they are not.”

EVEN MUSLIMS ARE NOT THIS UNREASONABLE!!!!!  At least they are willing to listen to us and give SIOE a forum.

AN Islamaphobic group planning a mosque protest were labelled a “small band of fanatics” as Harrow Council signed a unity pact yesterday.

Stop the Islamisation of Europe (SIOE) intends to hold a rally outside Harrow Central Mosque, in Station Road, on December 13.

There are fears the move could drive a wedge between Harrow’s diverse communities and concerns there may be a repeat of violent scenes witnessed during the group’s first Harrow demonstration on September 11.

Leaders of the Conservative, Labour and Lib Dem parties signed the declaration of unity, during a meeting in which the full council passed a motion rejecting “all those who bring division and hatred”.

Councillor Paul Scott, deputy leader of the Lib Dems, whose family came to Britain fleeing Fascism in Portugal, described protesters’ opposition to the mosque as “the paranoid rantings of fascists and fanatics”.

He said: “I would remind residents and citizens also that this is a small band of fanatics. They cannot be reasoned with and they cannot be spoken to like civilised people because they are not.”

This event is not strictly for Europeans, but SIOE supports people attempting to leave Islam and has been following the story closely.

The Annual International Islam Apostasy Day is the 2nd Friday in October, so if you want to rid yourself of Islam you have nearly a full year to find friends who want to do the same and to plan on how best to do it.

If you are in the vicinity of the rally on November 16th please attend.

Rifqa Bary’s story is one of shameful dhimmitude by the US legal system. One can’t help, but think that if Rifqa had converted from Christianity to Islam then the full might of the courts would have ensured her wishes were upheld.

This kind of story also occurs in Europe, sadly, so Rifqa’s plight has resonance with SIOE supporters.

Why you need to come to the “Stop mosque building” demo in Harrow on 13th December.

This interview with Lord Pearson very interestingly reveals how Muslim leaders resort to threats at the earliest opportunity, in this case Lord Ahmed who reportedly threatened to  “bring a force of 10,000 Muslims to lay siege to the Lords if the campaigning anti-Islamist Dutch MP Geert Wilders was allowed to speak”

Firstly, SIOE has been active against Islamisation for over two and a half years in a peaceful manner, but has been either ostracised or condemned in the media. None of its protests have been violent. On the contrary the only violence has been that perpetrated by Muslims after the Harrow demonstration was called off at the last minute on 11th September. 

Secondly, SIOE has support from gays and lesbians, especially in Denmark.  The problem with gay and lesbian organisations and women’s groups is their leadership. This is the case with many organisations in fact. Those at the top mirror politicians in that they keep information from their membership, in the way that politicians keep information from the general public.

Add to this how they disseminate perceived wisdom to people/members then ultimately, a Goebbelsian culture of misinformation pervades events.  This effectively prevents or, at least, dissuades people from following their own conscience and instead to tread the well beaten track of “political correctness”.  As stated before “pc” actually means “population control”.

Lord Pearson speaks of  “mild Muslims” and how they should do something to prevent the Jihadists from wresting control from democratically elected governments.  These “mild Muslims” would not lift a finger to help Lord Pearson should Islam become the dominant political force in Europe.

So, if you value what little freedom we have left and want to stop the fall into the hell of Islam then: Please come to the demonstration on 13^th December in Harrow to protest against mosque building and Sharia law in the UK and to stop the Islamisation of Europe

BBCCCP – Wot? No Copts? Again

ACTION: Please complain to the BBC News about its censorship over Muslim violence against minorities in Islamic countries and its focusing on the Israeli v Palestinian conflict always to the detriment of Israel.

Please say you do not want to see Palestinians on your TV again because you care as little about Palestinians as your national TV station does about Copts in Egypt, Buddhists in Thailand, Hindus in Bangladesh and Malaysia, Christians in Indonesia and Pakistan etc.

The British Broadcasting Corporation is probably the worst broadcasting organisation in the world, bar none.

It is probably similar to most other broadcasters in Europe in that it regularly shows news reports about the Israeli v Palestinian conflict, usually placing Israel in the wrong. 

This may expected from commercial companies, but the BBC is a publicly funded corporation where the British public are compelled to pay a fee (poll tax) for owning a television or a computer with internet access. 

The BBC praises itself on its “impartiality,” but it is the very opposite of impartial, especially where Islam is concerned.

SIOE knows other publicly owned broadcasters in Europe are very selective in what they broadcast about Islam, usually censoring news about the Islamic persecution of non-Muslim minorities.

This is especially true concerning the genocide being perpetrated against the Copts in Egypt.  The Islamic Egyptian Government purposefully attempted to starve Copts by brutally slaughtering every one of 330,000 pigs by burying them alive, beating them to death or dropping them in acid baths.

Here is a typical example of BBC censorship. This has not been broadcast by the BBC and probably this is also true of most national TV broadcasters in the EU.

Church Renovation Prompts Muslim Mob Attack in Egypt

Egypt (AINA) — On Tuesday evening, October 27, a Muslim mob attacked the Church of St. George in the village of Nazlet Albadraman, located in the Deir Mawas District, Minya Province. The Priest and the congregation were held inside until they were freed by the village mayor after security forces dispersed the mob. The attack was prompted by the restoration of the Church’s tower, for which the Church holds the necessary permit.

Protestant Pastor Habib Ghattas said that the Coptic Orthodox priest Father Serabamon, phoned him from inside the Church and asked him to contact the security forces. “We need them to come and rescue us from the mob,” he told Pastor Ghattas.

The mob threw stones and destroyed the church’s windows, before going on to destroy cars, shops and Coptic homes. One Coptic woman, Ayman Nada Landy, suffered head injuries. Security forces are presently deployed in the village to diffuse the situation and prevent further escalation. The village was also placed under curfew.

St. George’s Church in Nazlet Albadraman serves nearly 5000 Copts. It was renovated eight years ago except for the tower, which is located on the top of the gate entrance to the church. It was made of soft bricks and posed a threat to the lives of the Church visitors. After four years of conflict with the authorities , the church obtained a permit for the renovation work two days ago. Once a was license obtained, the church demolished the dilapidated tower and began digging the foundations for the new one.

According to Free Copts’ reporter Nader Shukry the incident started at 8 pm Tuesday evening when a village Muslim called Saber Ahmed Saleh stood in front of the church and started accusing the priests by saying “This way you are causing sectarian sedition, you have to stop your building works.” The Church guard was unsuccessful in getting him to leave. The situation began to deteriorate, as Muslims started to congregate, chant and hurl stones at the Church, breaking all its windows. “The village mayor intervened and the security forces forced the mob to leave. The mob left the Church to roam the streets rampaging cars, shops and homes belonging to Copts,” added Shoukry.

In an aired audio interview Protestant Pastor Habib Ghattas told activist Wagih Yacoub of Middle East Christian Association “The Muslim mob attacked the Church, and the priests and congregation who were at evening prayers were prevented by the mob from leaving the church. In the beginning the security forces were not able to control the situation. I had to phone state security again to get enforcements. Of course they did take their time arriving to the scene, as usual.” He also confirmed that the mob burned down the home of Ishaq Moussa, as well as destroyed Coptic homes, shops and cars.

Pastor Ghattas said that what made the situation deteriorate was “while the mob was congregating near the Church, a preacher at the ‘Islamic Charity Society’ in the village was calling on Muslims, through his loudspeaker, to take action against the ‘Christian Infidels,’ so more and more people joined the mob.”

Although security forces are presently stationed in the village, some Copts are still taking shelter at the Church, to avoid engagement with the Muslims and for fear of being arrested randomly by the police.

Minya Copts are staging a three-day protest fast, October 26-28, against church-building restrictions and the escalating Muslim attacks on them.

Attorney Mamdouh Nakhla, Director of “Al-Kalema” Human Rights Center called today on President Mubarak to dismissed the Governor of Minya, in view of the increasing sectarian incidents and abduction and forced Islamization of Coptic girls during his tenure in office.
