Anti-Islamist Rally Banned in Brussels
By Vasko Kohlmayer
FrontPageMagazine.com | 8/22/2007

From the article:

“An eagerly awaited public rally was to take place in Brussels – the capital of the European Union – on September 11 of this year. Called ‘Against Islamisation of Europe,’ its intent was to protest the spreading of Islamic sharia law across the European continent and honor by a minute of silence the victims of the 9/11 terror attacks.
The event was being organized by SIOE (Stop the Islamisation of Europe), an alliance of people from across Europe whose objective is to prevent Islam from ‘becoming a dominant political force in Europe.’ Concerned about the Muslim subversion of the continent’s cultures and institutions, SIOE’s has this to say about Islam:”

AEL wants to demonstrate in Brussels…..on 9/11!

Posted by Sitemaster on August 23, 2007

It’s going to be busy in Brussels on the 11th of September. The AEL
(Arab Europe League) announced that it will hold a manifestation
against “Islamophobia and racism in Europe”.

The AEL is known for some violent protests in Antwerp some years ago.
It was founded by Diab Abu Jahjah. During the war last year, he went
back to his homeland Lebanon to join Hezbollah in it’s fight against
Israel. Diab didn’t return. He decided to stay in Lebanon to start a
political party there. Since then we didn’t here from the AEL anymore,
until now.

In the article on
http://www.hln.be/hlns/cache/det/art_561374.html?wt.bron=RSS the AEL
claims they support the freedom of speech and that they did not ask to
ban the SIOE demo. But their manifestation is a reaction to this SIOE
demo (organised by far right and racist organisations they say). They
say everyone has the same absolute right to speak their language and
to live according to their culture and religion.

Thielemans is waiting for a report from the police before he decides
if he will ban this demo.

Is this helpful?

Posted by Sitemaster on August 22, 2007

Some people seem to be spreading some rather unconstructive and even unverified information/rumours  about the SIOE demonstration.

This information was published on Gates of Vienna, together with some scary images!

This article on Gates of Vienna has been the most damaging for the Brussels demo yet.
If you were trying to keep people from going to Brussels you couldn’t have done a better job than that article.
Anonymous emails are worthless, they could have come from Thielemans’s office itself.

Threats, like those described in the article here, are even more likely to come from people who want the demo to not happen as those who really support the demo, but are concerned about violence.
The article warns that we should be careful of police or other infiltrators trying to start violence to discredit the SIOE demo and get participants arrested, yet we are expected to believe what’s written in emails!?

Get to Brussels. Fortune favours the brave.

A line in the sand

Posted by Sitemaster on August 21, 2007

This is the limit!

It all started with a planned, peaceful demonstration in Brussels with the title: Stop the islamisation of Europe.  A demonstration with following slogans: No Sharia here, democracy not theocracy, enough is enough!
This demonstration, appealing to regular citizens, due to the rules of the demonstration - were supposed to end with a collection of signatures, collected from different countries.

This peaceful demonstration has not alone been banned by the mayor, but also criminalized – read here.  A person, who is mayor of the capital of Europe, now wants to hinder the citizen of Europe in the right to demonstrate.  On what legal ground, on which authority can this man do this?
None, of course. Therefore the organisers of SIOE call upon all to carry on and join the demonstration anyway,  – because enough is enough.

If we do not draw a line in the sand, and reject the attempts of people like Thielemans to curb our rights – people like him will turn EU into a dictatorial state.
Therefore we also call upon all organisations and parties that support the aim of SIOE – to follow the example of SIOE Denmark and demonstrate in front of the embassies of Belgium – To wake them up in Brussels!

Demo-tatorship?? Thielemans’s only allowing his own opinions!

Posted by Sitemaster on August 18, 2007

Is this the new course for the future of EU:

Criticism of USA and the                 Criticism of the islamisation
jews is allowed!
                                is banned!

Copenhagen August the 17th.: The manifestation in front of Belgium’s embassy against Thieleman’s ban on the SIOE demonstration, was just finishing, when there was a call to SIOE Denmark from Pax Europe, co-organiser of the SIOE demonstration.
They informed that the mayor Freddy Thielemans had just given permission to a demonstration/march on sunday Sept. the 9th. in Brussels. The demonstration will proclame that it wasn’t Islamists but Americans and Jews who stood behind the act of terrorisms against World Trade Center on Sep. the 11th 2001.

The demonstration will move from Brussels northern station to the southern in protest against “Georges Bush’s involvement with the 9/11 2001 terror attack’s in New York and on the Pentagon”.
The demonstration is led by a left-wing anti-American group who calls itself “United for truth” and that works with conspiracy theories.

With this permission Thielemans has proved to the whole Europe that EU’s capital is controlled by a dictatorial mayor, who only allows the freedom of expression to people who share his own opinions.
In this case were no hesitation and speculations about safety, because he was supported by his Moslem electors and party colleagues.
This will be a demonstration they fully can join.

It’s sad to acknowledge.
SIOE has proved that EU’s capital no longer is a democratic centre in the EU, but has become a dictatorial centre where only “the correct opinions” that pleases islam can get permission to be uttered.
Peaceful people’s fair criticism of this new fascism that spreads in Europe, can no longer be allowed…..because of threats from this fascism!
It is easy to put two and two together and figure out in which direction the EU apparently is moving!

Demo in front of the Belgium embassy in Denmark

Posted by Sitemaster on August 18, 2007

SIOE Denmark had organised a demonstration in Denmark in front of the embassy of Belgium in Copenhagen on friday the 17th.:
The slogans “Free spech NOW!” and “Free speech for free people!” rang in the street when dedicated people met up in order to protest against the Brussels mayor’s dictatorial decision of banning a peaceful demonstration arranged by SIOE in EU’s capital Sep. the 11th.

Some of the participants were attacked by autonomous after the demo, read more here (From siad.wordpress)

SIOE continues

Posted by Sitemaster on August 16, 2007

The anger at Mayor Thielemans’s ban of the 11th September Brussels demo has sparked a torch of unprecedented defiance.

It has been made clear to SIOE that people intend to go to Brussels to do their own thing and even make their feelings known in Islamic sections of Brussels.

Therefore, we feel it would be much better to hold a demo under the original rules http://siad.wordpress.com/2007/07/11/aims-of-the-march-911/ which were very popular.

This will keep to the intention of having a peaceful demonstration and will make it easier to maintain the security and safety of demonstrators and the general public.

So the Stop Islamisation Of Europe demo goes ahead as planned.

Demonstration in front of the Belgian Embassy

Posted by Sitemaster on August 15, 2007

In the light of Brussels’ mayor Freddy Thielemans’s prohibitions of SIOE’s march 11. sep.:

We feel that Belgium as host country for the EU has a responsibility for that EU citizens can express their concern for EU’s decisions.

Like any other dictator Thielemans has changed all this with a stroke of a pen.

Meet up in front of Belgium’s embassy in Denmark on Friday August the 17th. at 19.00 and participate in a peaceful demonstration for the freedom of expression in the EU and in Denmark.

We encourage all countries and states that have a Belgian representation to meet up in front of their Belgian embassy or consulate and make known their dissatisfaction with Thielemans’s undemocratic decision.

SIOE Denmark

Facts about Freddy Thielemans:

Leader of the Socialist Party in Brussels.
At least 8 out of 18 members are muslims.
Freddy Thielemans was elected mostly on muslim votes.
23% of the city council are muslims
Freddy Thielemans has approved all demonstrations in Brussels within the last 5 years, also muslim demonstrations. Only 5 have been prohibited and these were all terror organisations.
Acording to many concerned citizens within Brussels, is it only a matter of time before muslims can take over the city council.
In 2005 on the day of Pope Johannes Paul’s death, Freddy was eating in a restaurant. At the same time he got the sms message, he jumped up and declared: The pope is dead, champagne for all! http://www.actuabd.com/spip.php?article2347

Open letter from the Copts

Posted by Sitemaster on August 15, 2007

Letter to The Brussels Mayor Thielemans
15August 2007

Dear Mayor Thielemans,

Regarding your decision to ban the “Stop Islamisation Of Europe” demonstration on 11th September outside the European Parliament in Brussels, I would like to remind you that there are many communities, other than Muslims, who have settled in Europe.
Many of these communities have chosen Europe for their home because of its tolerance, democracy and free speech.

Some of these have had to flee Islamic persecution.

Whatever the reason these people certainly do not wish to see Islamic culture, practices and doctrines being imposed upon them or placed above Western values, in other words they do not wish to see Sharia Law or Islamisation in any form taking hold in Europe.

National American Coptic assembly usa  therefore, dismayed that you have unilaterally decided to ban the demonstration which has declared itself to be peaceful, non-racist and pro-democracy, merely to protect the sensitivities of, but one section, of the Brussels population, namely Muslims.

This goes against the principles of the European Union, which has its Parliament in the city where you are Mayor and in fact, reveals that you are yourself culpable in the Islamisation of Europe, the very reason why the demonstration was organised in the first place.

N A C A would like to remind you that your duties and responsibilities encompass the needs and sensitivities of all the communities of Brussels and not just those you choose to side with.

Your action exposes both your favouritism towards the Muslim community and double standards unworthy of your important office.
In a mature democracy N A C A astounded that you ban a demonstration because Muslims might become violent towards the demonstrators expressing their democratic rights.

It would have been far better if you had advised your Muslim constituents to either ignore the demonstration or better still to hold a peaceful counter demonstration on the 11th, or at some other time.

If you fear violence from your Muslim citizens you would be far better employed in educating them as to Western values the rest of us enjoy and uphold.

The national american Coptic assembly USA, urge you to reverse your decision and to allow the Stop Islamisation of Europe demonstration.

YOURS truly
