Appel til alle danskere / Call to all danes

Posted by Sitemaster on November 29, 2009

Appel til alle danskere der lever i London eller alle danskere der har mulighed for at være i London d. 13. dec.

Call to all danes who live in London or have the possibility to be present in London dec. 13th.

D. 13. dec. kl 14. afholder Stop Islamisation Of Europe en demonstration udeforan den nye stor-moské i Harrow. / Join Stop Islamisation Of Europe (SIOE) Dec. 13th at 1400 hours in a demonstration against the big mosque in Harrow.

Harrow residents who object to the mosque

Posted by Sitemaster on November 27, 2009

All non-Muslim residents who object to the massive mosque blighting Station Road please voice your objections at the SIOE demonstration in front of the Civic Centre on 13th December at 14.00.

If Harrow residents protesting against the mosque receive any kind of intimidation after the demonstration, then please inform SIOE and the police immediately. We still live in a moderately free country, despite the efforts of the government Tony McNulty was once a minister of state within. We are still free to voice our objections, at least free from intimidation for doing so (please whisper that snippet of information to Muslims and UAF henchmen).

We know that objections were made by Harrow Council Tax payers against early opening hours for the mosque, but as usual objections were ridden roughshod over by an arrogant council.

It is only to be regretted that SIOE never organised a demonstration against this dominating edifice of theocratic oppression at the planning stages. It would certainly never have been built.

Reportedly, objections were indeed raised against the mosque at the planning stages, but to no avail.

However, Harrow mosque is now a perfect symbol for opposition to further mosque-building until violent jihad and hatred for the Kuffar is stopped being preached in existing mosques.

Local councils are now taking note of Council Tax payers’ objections with two mosques being refused planning permission, one in Lincoln and the other in Lichfield

Unfortunately, Judge Mr Justice Wyn Williams granted outline planning permission to Dudley Muslim Association’s plans to build a mosque. So SIOE will now have to pay a visit to Dudley to endeavour to prevent its despoiling.

So, if you are a Harrow resident who is fed up with having this mosque dumped on your doorstep and don’t want to hear “Allah u akbar” blasting out of loudspeakers at the top of an unnecessary 120 foot high minaret, then please come to the demonstration and get your voice heard for once.

There may be no plans for loudspeakers on the minaret. Let’s keep it that way by saying so at the demo.

Please bring banners saying “I didn’t want the mosque”.

Jews please come to the Harrow demo

Posted by Sitemaster on November 26, 2009

BRING ONE THOUSAND ISRAELI FLAGS

Israeli-FlagSIOE supports Israel’s right to defend itself against Islamist attempts to annihilate Jews

This is a serious appeal to Jews living in London or within travelling distance of London.

If you do not attend this demonstration then you are prepared to see Israel wiped off the map.

If you do not attend this demonstration then you are prepared to see Jews removed from the world.

Vile anti-Semitism is being preached in mosques across the world and almost certainly the one in your neighbourhood.

Are you going to honour those who have lost their lives for the Jewish people?

Are you going to demur to being called “apes and pigs” instead of the people you are?

Or are you going to dishonour those who made the ultimate sacrifice to provide the Jewish people with a HOMELAND and thereby dishonour yourselves?

Non-Jews are demonstrating on 13th December against the anti-Semitism being taught in mosques which goes unchallenged by politicians, the media and so-called ‘moderate’ Muslims.

Jews cannot, in all conscience, leave it to non-Jews to protest on the behalf of Jews who are once again the world’s whipping boy.

If Islam takes over Europe and the West where will Jews run to?  Support your friends now!

Calling Jews, especially ex-IDF who are concerned about the rise in anti-Semitic attacks in Europe particularly by Muslims and the flagrant anti-Israel bias in the Western media

Please come to the demonstration on 13th December in Harrow to protest against further mosque building until hatred is finally stopped being preached in existing mosques and to stop the Islamisation of Europe

BRING ONE THOUSAND ISRAELI FLAGS – There are 295,000 Jews in the UK so surely 1,000 can give 2 hours on a Sunday and bring a flag each!

Here are some reasons why Jews must come to this demonstration

Anti-Semitic attacks have increased alarmingly in Europe especially by the hands of Muslims and Robert Spencer, eloquently as always, explains why . Of course the media would have it that Israel and the bombing of Gaza are the reasons.

France has seen the most noticeable increase in anti-Semitic attacks by Muslims which has caused an exodus of Jews from France.  Indeed it was suggested that emigration of Jews to Israel was the best answer to anti-Semitism in France.

Around 850,000 Jews have been ousted from Arab countries (no sanctions for genocide though) and reportedly one Jew is left in Afghanistan

So where are Jews to go?

Arguably, (some say undoubtedly) the media enflame the situation.

The anti-Israel bias is barely disguised.  Recently Peter Oborne reported on Channel4’s ‘Dispatches’ about the strength of the Israeli lobby in the press and government in the UK http://www.channel4.com/programmes/dispatches/4od suggesting that it was far too strong and the media were afraid.

The trouble with this programme is that it never even attempted to find a cause and effect. Rather like we are led to believe that everything was peaceful and calm before the first Crusade, we are led to believe that reports about Israel were always impartial and the Israeli lobby happened for no reason. Jews know that was far from the case.

The Palestine v Israel conflict has never been reported impartially. Indeed downright lies have been broadcast deliberately to put Israel in a bad light.

For example, the alleged shooting of the 12 year-old Mohammed Al-Dura whilst sheltering behind his father was exposed as fake in a French court.

This is just one video of several showing the untruth.

Similarly, videos of children being “rescued” from bombed buildings were reportedly faked. We know about  doctored photos.

Often the internet is the only recourse to reverse the chicanery of the Taqiyya TV companies, but even there such sites as Honest Reporting are targetted by TV channels.

The largest United Nations voting bloc is comprised of the 57 Muslim countries which have tried to isolate Israel several times, most notably in the two Durban Conferences .

However, at least somebody speaks up for Israel in the United Nations, refreshingly.

Thanks to UN Watch

So please come to the Harrow demonstration to support those who support Jews, Israel and the truth.

Harrow mosque demo announcement

Posted by Sitemaster on November 26, 2009

After a meeting, arrangements have now been made with the police who have made plans for policing the event.

Please keep looking at this site for further information.

The event will start at 14.00 in an area in the square opposite the mosque allotted to SIOE by the police. A muster point has been allotted and people should not gather there before 13.30, in other words people should start assembling the gathering between 13.30 and 14.00 . Details will be given later of where this will be.

People are requested not to bring banners attached to either metal or wood. Plastic plumbing-piping or plastic frames are acceptable, or just hand-held banners. It would be helpful if people could send us images of proposed banners for approval. This will save time on the day. In any case banners will be shown to the police before the demo starts, if requested.

This demo will be carried out in a respectful, dignified manner, but will be robust in its message.

Protestors are requested to bring cameras and camcorders and to make images available to SIOE afterwards for publication. Also, if participants could bring dictaphones to record press interviews so that we can compare what is actually said with what is broadcast, it would be helpful. These interviews will be published by SIOE.

When the event ends the protestors will leave together from the scene according to how the police wish it to happen.

This second demonstration was only made necessary because of Muslims and a small number of UAF intimidating and disrupting the first attempt on 11th September. We refuse to be cowed by threats and intimidation from fulfilling our democratic rights to free speech. Europe is not yet Muslim dominated so non-Muslims do not  have to yield to Muslim demands, nor to the demands of a motley band of self-styled Antifascists who behave like Hitler’s Brownshirts.

OPPOSITION

1. There will be local Muslims who attend the mosque who will be close by the mosque. It is not anticipated that these will be large in number, but will in any case be under the control of the mosque leaders.

2. Muslims from outside the area have been asked to stay away by Harrow mosque leaders, so if any show up, it is anticipated they will be small in number.

Islam4UK is highly unlikely to appear, nor is Al-Muhajiroun, as they failed to demonstrate earlier in November and have ceased their disgusting protests against the troops at homecoming parades. Fortunately, they seem to have got the message that they have no support, but do have fierce opposition from the majority of the population.

British Muslims for Secular Democracy will be in opposition, but not in large numbers, as most Muslims indisputably do not believe in secular democracy. The fact that BMSD are counter-protesting is also another reason for Islam4UK not attending as the latter will more than likely be fulfilling its role of giving out a whining press release the day after the demonstration, as they did earlier in November when facing opposition.

SIOE suspects that BMSD and Islam4UK have a “good guy, bad guy” arrangement as,  what SIOE calls, “Mecca Muslims” (BMSD) and “Medina Muslims” (Islam4UK). The Caliphate has more than one way to achieve domination.

3. A few misguided United Against Fascism (UAF) opposed SIOE on 11th September, but nearly all their banners were given to Muslims who came in from outside.

UAF have appeared in larger numbers against the English Defence League, probably only because it has “English” in its title, not because it is in any way fascist.

However, the UAF has certainly recognised that SIOE is in no way a fascist or nazi organisation and that SIOE also unswervingly opposes racism. Indeed UAF has seen that SIOE is the one organisation that speaks up for persecuted minorities in Islamic countries, such as the Copts in Egypt and Christians in Pakistan and Indonesia. So UAF would look sincerely stupid counter-protesting against SIOE which opposes anti-Semiticism and fascism more robustly than UAF. Indeed SIOE is not selective in the kind of anti-Semiticism it denounces. Unlike UAF, SIOE despises and opposes the flagrant anti-Semiticism exhibited by Muslims, not only in Muslim countries, but also in Europe, and indeed across the world. The kind of anti-Semiticism preached in every mosque in the world.

Yes UAF will look as stupid as the few ill-informed Antifa members who show up against SIOE in other European countries.  Having seen that SIOE is the most anti-fascist organisation in Europe, the more serious and knowledgable anti-fascists no longer counter-protest SIOE.  We have observed it is generally a few unruly, ignorant youths who arrive shouting their heads off.

Sarah Cox, Harrow’s UAF spokesperson, has said in the Harrow Times that she does not want to take on SIOE, so we anticipate she will be persuading her more boisterous and foolish companions to do the same. So, if  UAF unwisely do appear, we are confident that they will heed Sarah’s demands for self-control and will therefore behave just as SIOE supporters do at all of their demonstrations, that is, peacefully.

So, SIOE considers that this will be an altogether different demonstration to that held on 11th September, now that our opponents have come to their senses and decided to behave in a civilised manner.

Therefore, we urge SIOE supporters to come to Harrow on 13th December and bring as many friends as possible for what will certainly be a peaceful, useful and successful demonstration.  The plug has been pulled on Islamisation and sharia is pouring down the plughole where it belongs.

Harrow mosque “do as we say don’t do as we do”

Posted by Sitemaster on November 26, 2009

Harrow Central Mosque: don’t counter anti-Islam protest

SIOE  finds this to be a curious request as Harrow’s Muslims will be peacefully counter-demonstrating against the Stop Islamisation Of Europe’s demonstration “No more mosque-building until jihad is stopped in existing mosques”. So why they are asking others to stay away is baffling.

We know Islam4UK will not be attending because we have seen that once it has been faced down it fades away. Muslims demonstrated against the Anglian Regiment on their return from Afghanistan. They were confronted then and since then several English Defence League demonstrations have happened across England, and of course SIOE’s annual 9/11 demonstration, in Harrow on 11th September. Although Muslims threatened further protests at troops’ homecomings, none have transpired.

When 2 Rifles returned home their proud parades were not marred by Muslims holding up insulting banners calling them terrorists. Anjem Choudary and Islam4UK will not therefore be showing up in Harrow. So that’s the end of that.

This is what happens when people fearlessly oppose Islamism and Muslim intimidation.  So please come to this demonstration if you want to Stop Islamisation and remove sharia law from our lands.

We don’t expect UAF to show up either. By far the highest number of people carrying UAF banners on 11th September were Muslims who had been given the banners to brandish by the UAF.

Opposition to mosque building does bear fruit. A church in Lincoln that was due to be converted into a mosque was burnt down which was sad as it was a listed building. It was not known whether  opponents of the mosque razed the church or Muslims looking for a way to build a spanking new purpose-built mosque.

Whoever it was is immaterial. Planning permission for a new mosque has been refused.

Video here

Success is an excellent reason for coming to Harrow on 13th December to protest against further mosque building.

Concerned residents of Bournemouth have asked SIOE to help in reversing the conversion of this church, First Church of Christ, Scientist,  into a mosque, so we will be applying to demonstrate at the location in 2010. Bournemouth citizens might like to come to SIOE’s Harrow demonstration on 13th December so we can make plans for a Bournmouth event.

Letter to SIOE from Harrow Council

Posted by Sitemaster on November 25, 2009

Harrow Letter to SIOE

This letter is astonishingly inaccurate.

Take the statement: “This council deplores the holding of an anti-mosque demonstration on September 11th, and congratulates the police, all council staff and the Central mosque as well as the residents of Harrow for the dignified and controlled way they handled themselves thus ensuring that the demonstration passed off relatively peacefully.”

The demonstration could not have passed any more peacefully than it did because it didn’t actually happen! Due to the ferocious intimidation, threats of violence and altogether ugly antagonism of 2,000 Muslims and a handful of non-Muslim UAF thugs, police effectively prevented the demonstration going ahead by turning away SIOE demonstrators and arresting Stephen Gash, who actually cancelled the demonstration some minutes after the event was due to take place, while sitting in a police vehicle.

It has since been revealed by the police to SIOE that Muslim counter-protestors, in the main, with a few UAF cohorts, took over the place where SIOE’s demonstration was due to be held. According to Harrow Council, therefore, threatening violence, intimidation and taking over the place of a legitimate protest is “dignified” and “controlled”.

Please note that SIOE has not been invited to talk at the proposed meeting with the “high-level delegation from Harrow”. If “high-level” includes Harrow MP Tony McNulty, then one wonders what a “low-level” delegation would actually be. The letter complains about the expense to Harrow residents of the SIOE 13th December demonstration, but one suspects it pales into insignificance when compared to Mr. McNulty’s expenses claims while he has been Harrow’s member of parliament.

The cost of SIOE’s 11th September demonstration would have been minimal if Muslims had not rioted, as they always seem to do, as the video below shows:-

Whether they demonstrate or counter-demonstrate, Muslims seem to riot, wherever they are in the world.

The SIOE protest would have been peaceful if it had been permitted to continue, but Muslims performed violent activities before it was due to take place and, most shamefully, after the demonstration had been called off.

Harrow Council fails to see that SIOE and people in the West, including non-Muslim Harrow residents, value the freedom to criticise and democratic rights more highly than any financial costs generated by standing up to Islamism.

The Star and crescent moon shine a light on Harrow

Posted by Sitemaster on November 24, 2009

Harrow Coat of Arms

As a Muslim hip hop band might sing “Why ain’t that bitch in a burkha?”

Salus populi suprema lex is Latin for The welfare of the people is the highest law.  How Islamophobic is that?  Sharia law is head-choppingly supreme and Harrow’s Muslims will certainly see that Allah’s will is not decapitated in such a cavalier kuffar way – if they get their way.

The Harrow festival of unity

Trade union leaders and politicians dhimmying it down. Note the name of the Muslim hip hop band (We’ve highlighted it) which will have gone straight over the dhimmis’ heads.

We can’t understand why SIOE, the most fiercely anti-fascist organisation in Europe, was not invited.

We can’t understand why Muslims, the most fierce fascists in human history, were invited.

Dhimmitude is indeed a disease. SIOE is the vaccine, but unlike swine-flu vaccine we are not forcing it on anyone.

Incidentally are Muslims being given swine-flu vaccine? Has it been raised in pigs? If not are the animal hosts halal?

Muslims must be told. Let’s hope they don’t riot when they find out they have been injected with haram vaccine.

Anti fascist festival attracts big name speakers

AN ANTI Fascist festival marked a new page in protests against the activities of anti-mosque groups in Harrow yesterday.

Last night’s Festival of Unity was billed as a positive way to celebrate the area’s ethnic diversity by organisers Unite Against Fascism (UAF).

The group has been countering protests by Stop Islamisation of Europe (SIOE) against the expansion of Harrow Central Mosque. The last protest, on September 11, descended into violence.

The SIOE intends to hold a further rally outside the mosque, in Station Road, on December 13.

Last night trade union officials including Bob Crow, the General Secretary of the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers and Jo Lang, President of the Harrow Teachers Association, joined MP Tony McNulty and Suresh Grover, chair of the National Civil Rights Movement, which was set up in 1999 to challenge institutional racism and stand up for minority rights to give a series of short speeches in support of the UAF’s plight.

Muslim hip hop group Mecca to Medina were among the musical acts while poetry came from Somali poet Lady S.

Alf Filer, 55, of the Brent and Harrow UAF, who spoke at the event, said: “When we heard the SOIE was going to return we decided to counter it.

“The SOIE argue there is no such thing as a moderate Muslim. The Harrow community stands united against this, there is no room for racism in Harrow.

“We want to spread a message of hope, there is an alternative message to the racist message being put out by the far right groups in this country.”

Stephen Gash, of Stop Islamisation of Europe, has previously told the Harrow Times: “We don’t believe in moderate Muslims. We are saying to the moderate Muslims if you are moderate kick those extremists out of the mosques.”

He added: “The reason we are hardline against Muslims is that if people keep talking about moderate Muslims then they do nothing.”

British Muslims for Secular Democracy letter

Posted by Sitemaster on November 23, 2009

Stephen Gash being shouted down by Pickled Politics’s Sunny

SIOE received a letter from an organisation called British Muslims for Secular Democracy which may be seen in this ‘Comment is free’ article in the Guardian newspaper.

Please note: Although Stephen Gash studiously stayed within the Guardian’s rules and guidelines, most of his comments were censored.

It is disgraceful that the Guardian published a Comment is Free article naming Stephen Gash, then censored his reponses and explanations, even though they were within the guidelines. It is truly disgusting that calls for dialogue are made then responses censored. Moderators are necessary and we moderate, and indeed censor, comments made here.  However, if we mentioned somebody by name and abused or name-called them, we would permit reponses, with disclaimers if necessary. This does not apply to exchanges made by contributors on our own comments section where we reserve the right to delete comments, only to posts and articles SIOE publishes.

This letter has also been published on Pickled Politics and Stephen Gash’s  responses are shown below. Pickled Politics may not censor my responses, as did the Guardian’s Comment is Free, but we refuse to risk that eventuality, so we reproduce Stephen’s responses here.  People, as always may judge for themselves about Stephen Gash’s comments. Stephen was shouted down by Sunny and others at the recent counter-Islam4UK demo, so was unable to explain fully our stance on moderate Muslims.

Criticism of Stephen Gash is found at Standpoint only linked to because of the likening of Stephen Gash to Nosferatu which we found amusing although entirely inaccurate as he is a vegetarian.

We will leave it for readers to decide whether Alexander Meleagrou-Hitchens’s taqiyya defence of BMSD was answered satsfactorily by Stephen.

Only comments by Stephen Gash or to him are reproduced from Pickled Politics below

SIOE withdraws from 10th December conference

Posted by Sitemaster on November 19, 2009

It is with some regret that SIOE spokesperson Stephen Gash has formally withdrawn from participating in this event

Although the organisers let it be known that another panellist had been invited to participate after SIOE had already agreed to make a presentation, another panellist was invited after that.

Also, it was brought to SIOE’s attention that the event had been advertised in a manner different to how it had been originally. This change caused one panellist to withdraw, leaving two anti-Islamist contributors facing three Muslims.

SIOE was quite willing to discuss “The Islamification of Britain fact or myth?”  but apparently press releases had been sent out suggesting something different to the original title of the event.

Therefore, we consider that SIOE’s good will had been abused, thereby provoking the withdrawal. This is a shame because the Islamisation of Europe is happening and the opposition case needs to be heard because governments and media are deliberately stifling debate.

However, once conditions had been agreed, we consider changing those conditions, especially advertising, to be untenable.

Appeal to US non-Muslim citizens outraged at the Fort Hood murders

Posted by Sitemaster on November 10, 2009

DO NOT LET CAPITOL HILL BECOME CAPITULATION HILL

iwojimaflag

CALLING ALL  UNITED STATES OF AMERICA NON-MUSLIM CITIZENS RESIDING IN LONDON AND BOTH THE REST OF THE UK AND EUROPE WHO ARE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO LONDON

WE NEED YOU TO REPRESENT YOUR COUNTRY TO DEFEND OUR WESTERN WAYS OF LIFE, CULTURE AND TRADITIONS AGAINST ENCROACHING SHARIA AND ISLAMISATION

Please come to the demonstration on 13th December in Harrow to protest against mosque building and Sharia law in the UK and to stop the Islamisation of Europe.

Please distribute this invitation far and wide to Americans and bring friends along.

Please bear flags of the United States of America at the demonstration.

The Fort Hood massacre

USREPORT-US-TEXAS-SHOOTING

If you believe Muslims have forfeited the right to immigration into the USA then please sign the petition.

SIOE sends its sincere condolences to the families of those killed by a Muslim at Fort Hood.  This event was not just an atrocity it was a tragedy. The tragedy resides in the betrayal of the American non-Muslim citizens, especially those in the US armed forces, by the present Administration.  The betrayal lies in the constant denial that Islam is the root of the evil problem.

Unfortunately, this tragedy is already being excused.  This excusing of flagrant killing is merely one small step in the Islamisation of America.

Some Muslims have at least been honest in saying Nidal Malik Hasan was engaged in Jihad and called the fellow Muslim and alleged killer “brother”.

Muslims in America suggested that Nidal Malik Hasan was “an officer and a gentleman injured while partaking in a pre-emptive strike”

Others cry crocodile tears while belching taqiyya.

From Stop Islamization Of America – SIOA

Eyewitness account of what happened

This account was written by an onsite JAG officer. Carolyn Teten received it and posted and shared it. She gave her permission to forward it.

Subject: What happened

Since I don’t know when I’ll sleep (it’s 4 am now) I’ll write what happened (the abbreviated version…..the long one is already part of the investigation with more to come). I’ll not write about any part of the investigation that I’ve learned about since (as a witness I know more than I should since inevitably my JAG brothers and sisters are deeply involved in the investigation). Don’t assume that most of the current media accounts are very accurate. They’re not. They’ll improve with time. Only those of us who were there really know what went down. But as they collate our statements they’ll get it right.

I did my SRP last week (Soldier Readiness Processing) but you’re supposed to come back a week later to have them look at the smallpox vaccination site (it’s this big itchy growth on your shoulder). I am probably alive because I pulled a ———- and entered the wrong building first (the main SRP building). The Medical SRP building is off to the side. Realizing my mistake I left the main building and walked down the sidewalk to the medical SRP building. As I’m walking up to it the gunshots start. Slow and methodical. But continuous. Two ambulatory wounded came out. Then two soldiers dragging a third who was covered in blood. Hearing the shots but not seeing the shooter, along with a couple other soldiers I stood in the street and yelled at everyone who came running that it was clear but to “RUN!”. I kept motioning people fast.

About 6-10 minutes later (the shooting continuous), two cops ran up. one male, one female. we pointed in the direction of the shots. They headed that way (the medical SRP building was about 50 meters away). then a lot more gunfire. a couple minutes later a balding man in ACU’s came around the building carrying a pistol and holding it tactically. He started shooting at us and we all dived back to the cars behind us. I don’t think he hit the couple other guys who were there. I did see the bullet holes later in the cars. First I went behind a tire and then looked under the body of the car. I’ve been trained how to respond to gunfire…but with my own weapon. To have no weapon I don’t know how to explain what that felt like. I hadn’t run away and stayed because I had thought about the consequences or anything like that. I wasn’t thinking anything through. Please understand, there was no intention. I was just staying there because I didn’t think about running. It never occurred to me that he might shoot me. Until he started shooting in my direction and I realized I was unarmed.

Then the female cop comes around the corner. He shoots her. (according to the news accounts she got a round into him. I believe it, I just didn’t see it. He didn’t go down.) She goes down. He starts reloading. He’s fiddling with his mags. Weirdly he hasn’t dropped the one that was in his weapon. He’s holding the fresh one and the old one (you do that on the range when time is not of the essence but in combat you would just let the old mag go). I see the male cop around the left corner of the building. (I’m about 15-20 meters from the shooter.) I yell at the cop, “He’s reloading, he’s reloading. Shoot him! Shoot him!) You have to understand, everything was quiet at this point. The cop appears to hear me and comes around the corner and shoots the shooter. He goes down. The cop kicks his weapon further away. I sprint up to the downed female cop.

Another captain (I think he was with me behind the cars) comes up as well. She’s bleeding profusely out of her thigh. We take our belts off and tourniquet her just like we’ve been trained (I hope we did it right…we didn’t have any CLS (combat lifesaver) bags with their awesome tourniquets on us, so we worked with what we had). Meanwhile, in the most bizarre moment of the day, a photographer was standing over us taking pictures. I suppose I’ll be seeing those tomorrow. Then a soldier came up and identified himself as a medic. I then realized her weapon was lying there unsecured (and on “fire”). I stood over it and when I saw a cop yelled for him to come over and secure her weapon (I would have done so but I was worried someone would mistake me for a bad guy). I then went over to the shooter. He was unconscious. A Lt Colonel was there and had secured his primary weapon for the time being. He also had a revolver. I couldn’t believe he was one of ours. I didn’t want to believe it. Then I saw his name and rank and realized this wasn’t just some specialist with mental issues.

At this point there was a guy there from CID and I asked him if he knew he was the shooter and had him secured. He said he did. I then went over the slaughterhouse. The medical SRP building. No human should ever have to see what that looked like – and I won’t tell you. Just believe me. Please. There was nothing to be done there. Someone then said there was someone critically wounded around the corner. I ran around (while seeing this floor to ceiling window that someone had jumped through movie style) and saw a large African-American soldier lying on his back with two or three soldiers attending. I ran up and identified two entrance wounds on the right side of his stomach, one exit wound on the left side and one head wound. He was not bleeding externally from the stomach wounds (though almost certainly internally) but was bleeding from the head wound. A soldier was using a shirt to try and stop the head bleeding. He was conscious so I began talking to him to keep him so. He was 42, from North Carolina, he was named something Jr., his son was named something III and he had a daughter as well. His children lived with him. He was divorced. I told him the blubber on his stomach saved his life. He smiled. a young soldier in civvies showed up and identified himself as a combat medic. We debated whether to put him on the back of a pickup truck. A doctor (well, an audiologist) showed up and said “you can’t move him, he has a head wound”. We finally sat tight.

I went back to the slaughterhouse. They weren’t letting anyone in there. not even medics. finally, after about 45 minutes had elapsed some cops showed up in tactical vests. someone said the TBI building was unsecured. They headed into there. All of a sudden a couple more shots were fired. People shouted there was a second shooter. a half hour later the SWAT showed up. There was no second shooter. That had been an impetuous cop apparently. but that confused things for a while. Meanwhile I went back to the shooter. the female cop had been taken away. a medic was pumping plasma into the shooter. I’m not proud of this but I went up to her and said “this is the shooter, is there anyone else who needs attention…do them first”. she indicated everyone else living was attended to. I still hadn’t seen any EMTs or ambulances. I had so much blood on me that people kept asking me if I was ok, but that was all other people’s blood. Eventually (an hour and a half to two hours after the shootings) they started landing choppers. They took out the big African American guy and the shooter. I guess the ambulatory wounded were all at the SRP building. Everyone else in my area was dead.

I suppose the emergency responders were told there were multiple shooters. I heard that was the delay with the choppers (they were all civilian helicopters). They needed a secure LZ. but other than the initial cops who did everything right, I didn’t see a lot of them for a while. I did see many a soldier rush out to help their fellows/sisters. There was one female soldier, I dont’ know her name or rank but I would recognize her anywhere who was everywhere helping people. a couple people, mainly civilians, were hysterical, but only a couple. one civilian freaked out when I tried to comfort her when she saw my uniform. I guess she had seen the shooter up close. a lot of soldiers were rushing out to help even when we thought there was another gunman out there. This Army is not broken no matter what the pundits say. not the Army I saw.

and then they kept me for a long time to come. oh, and perhaps the most surreal thing, at 1500 (the end of the workday on Thursdays) when the bugle sounded we all came to attention and saluted the flag. in the middle of it all. This is what I saw. it can’t have been real, but this is my small corner of what happened.
